Volunteer Opportunities

Open Arms is a volunteer-based organisation, where every aspect - from planning our English education programs to fundraising - is handled by our volunteers!

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Working directly with children in our various programs

  • Helping lead our organisation through team positions

  • Assisting with special events

  • Fundraising

Volunteer Requirements

  • Age 18 years or older

  • Resident in or near Seoul

  • Pay our annual membership fee of 30,000 KRW

  • Read and sign our Code of Conduct & Child Protection Policy

​

When you sign up as a volunteer you become a member of Open Arms. This requires an annual registration fee of 30.000 KRW. Then you also have influence on the development of our organization at the annual General Meeting.

​

Volunteers are the heart of our organization and therefore it is important that we all share the ownership of Open Arms!

Help Us Grow!

Organisations like our own have day to day expenses, such as materials that are needed in our work with children; the development of our programs; supporting our volunteer base; and administration costs. Membership fees help us cover these expenses, but general financial help is important to grow our work.

Become an Open Arms Friend! 

You can support us financially on a regular basis. You'll receive our newsletter and keep up-to-date on our impact in Korea! This is also a great help to our work. Regular donations as a Friend help us plan for the future. As such, our Friends help us to achieve stability.
